Default Help with vacuum on 78

I am losing it. Ive been working on the headlights and I am not making any headway. I understand the vacuum basics but I am in need of a map to see if someone has monkeyed with this system. I get one leg of the hoses working and then something else stops working. Tonight my headlamps went down while driving down the road and then hot air started coming out through the circulating air system....Help! I am learning alot as I go and these postings have helped a great deal on numerous different project on this resto.......I am new to this forum so Please bear with me!

I've been through this with my 78 as well. Dr Rebuild has a great colored coded vaccum schematic. Essentially vaccum operates the headlights, A/C heater controls and vaccum advance. So any leaks and all falter.
