82 crossfire performance

what is the best way to get better performance out of a stock 82. chip?

Search the forum, you're better off leaving it stock and just making sure it's in top tune. Others have tried various things but IMO the little that's gained is not worth the erffort.

Check the mods in my profile. > .5 sec improvement in the 1/8 mi for ~ $500.

I think I saw an article on the net awhile back about how they converted an '82 crossfire to TPI. There was some sort of kit I guess, and they had to change to an electric fan and such.

right now you are at 200 hp that is factory hp .how much more do you want? you can get 300hp by doing the same things to your car as they do with any chevy .change the cat the old ones were bad .the cams were weak .the heads need work or replaced .how much hp do you want and how much money do you have? goto the cross-fire forum .
