Strange clicking sound
Im getting a strange clicking that goes up and down with RPM. It sounds exactly like an exhaust leak, which very well might be what it is. But I have replaced numorous exaust manifold gaskets and nothing seems to be working. It sounds like its comming from the passenger side, but im not sure. My heat riser is falling apart and so that may be a cause. Is there anything the transmission that can make clicking noises when it gets wore out? syncros or something like that? thanks

I was getting a clicking/popping sound from the passenger side of my Vette the other day...Turns out there's an exhaust leak. The exhaust manifold is leaking between the manifold and the downpipe, because the previous owner never bothered to put a round metallic gasket in between the two.
