Best Carb. for Street
What is the best Carb. choice for the street for let's say a 350 - 375 HP 350 C.I. SBC.?
I still want descent mileage as well.

Holley 750 DP, hands down. Your mileage will come with the proper tranny.

Quadrajet.
It will easily support 400 HP and still get good mileage. It just takes a little effort to learn how to tune it.

It's got no choke. It's a 2-corner idle carb. I can convert it to 4-corner if you want. It was rebuilt back in June or July of this year and only run on my vette for a month or 2. I used this one while I doctored up my 850. It's painted also. How does $250 + shipping sound?

I stick with my Q-jets, my friend sets them up and runs 10's on his drag car with them.

How about converting to fuel injection? Best of both worlds for a relatively mild engine.
If you must have a carb and get mileage, I vote Q-jet.

For my daily driver cars, I like Q-Jets, but tend to run Holleys on my weekend toys. Wish I had a source for tuning parts for my WCFBs.

Q-jet, despite what people say a 750-780 Holley is a BB carb. They work super on an L-72.

Street as in driven more than just on the weekends? Q-jet hands down, who wants to have to constantly tune the carb?

I don't know, GM put the 780 Holley on both the LT-1 and the mightymouse 302. Both run like bears.
I have a 750 on my ZZ430 replica and it performs very nicely.
