I'm sure the stuff works great, but $400 is a bit expensive. Plus, I haven't seen Chip Foose using this stuff.

Think I'll use reflectex.

I used it. It really absorbs vibration. I can not rate its thermal performance because I did not drive my vette much before I restored it. But with the adition of a large exhaust system I thought it wise to do something to address the heat issue. Especially here in Houston during the summer. I did talk to the people who actually make the stuff here in Houston. I know the basic technology used for thermal properties was developed by NASA.
