TH400 1 - 2 shift problem
This one sat dry for a while. Here is what I have tried so far to remedy the problem. I replaced all rubber vacuum lines to the modulator, replaced the modulator, added trans x and ran 200 miles, drained, replaced filter and refilled.
I took it to a dealership, and they said everything was fine and that the pressures looked good. Of course, as usual, it doesn't do it when you have them in the car. Plus, like I said, the longer driven, the worse it seems to be.
Sounds like a slight grind or pop when accelerating heavily. I spoke to a mechanic friend, who thought it might be the accumulator. Right now I am taking it VERY easy when driving during 1-2 shift. 2-3 shifts fine.
Any suggestions???
