What is the tortional value for the pinion rotation?
I'm not sure if I'm using the right terminology. I know that there is a rate (inch pounds) at which the pinion is supposed to rotate. I am not sure what that rate is, or where to find it. My assembly manual has the dif as a preassembled unit. Another book tells me a technique to measure it, which I can't do with out buying a new tool.
I think you'e asking about the setting for preloading the pinion? If so I set new bearings at 18in/lbs used bearings about 5 in/lbs but who reuses bearings?
