Oil pressure ?
I would like to know the normal oil pressure for a 350CI - L82 engine ?
At idle, engine hot, I read about 20-25 PSI and about 35 -40 at cruise.
I think there is a built-in oil pressure regulator in the stock mechanical pump.
Do you get the same results on your cars, or do you think it seems a little low ?

Those might be a tad low, but certainly still safe. I'm not sure what oil pump and spring an L-82 had, but the LT-1 pump runs about 35-40 hot at idle and comes up with rpm.
Also oil viscosity can affect the pressure too.
