non starting engine
same engine, different carb. Replaced the Quadrajet with a Holley 650. When first installed, it started and ran for a couple seconds. Finished hooking everything else up. Getting spark and carb is getting gas. Absolutely...will not fire! Suggestions or help?

Does that mean that the motor ran, then you turned it off to connect some other stuff up, now it wont start anymore?
What was it that you connected? Anything electrical?

Thanks for posting the fix to your problem.
I think that this is one area that we can all help out on. When we ask for help to our questions, we get many replies. It would be good to hear what the fix or solution to the problem was.
In your case it may have been simple. The carb was flooded. Case closed.
