Tall valve covers

I really like the look of the Proform polished aluminum Bowtie valve covers but they only come in tall. I have a 350 with short covers and other than possible clearance issues is there any mechanical reason I can't go with tall covers?

you wont have any clearance issues other than the alternator will be REAL close to the vc. before i got the march brackets i had to drop the belt to get the alt out of the way to get at my vc. and IMHO, proform sells junk and its not made in america.

Dunno for sure, but you might have a problem with the air conditioning bracket that mounts to the intake manifold...

Had mine on for years, no clearance issues even when I had the A/C installed...
