Do all Mighty Demon carbs have downleg boosters or do some have annular boosters?
Yes, they all have downleg boosters.

A booster a smaller venturi inside the main venturi. It is used to amplify the signal. The boosters discharge fuel through a hole or multiple holes (annular boosters).
As far as which is better, it depends on the application. There is a thread out there that goes over the pros and cons of each.
No, not all Mighty Demon carbs have down-leg boosters. You can order them with annular boosters as well. I have a 800 Mighty Demon w/ annular boosters on my 496 and I like it much better than the 850 Speed Demon that had down-leg boosters.
68 coupe gave you incorrect information, torqvette. The Mighty Demon model is the one that I chose to use specifically because it is available with annular boosters. Annular boosters atomize the gas with air much better than downleg boosters do and this makes the car run much stronger and cleaner on the low end of the rpm range. The Mighty Demon is also calibrated for a street driven car whereas some of the race carbs are not. They are designed primarily to be driven at wide open throttle and that is not what you want for performance on a street driven car.
Its no big deal really. Barry Grant is bad about not keeping their website up to date. I wouldn't have known that you could get a Mighty Demon with annular boosters if I hadn't just bought one recently.
Actually, the annular booster Mighty Demon is listed on their website. I have an 850. I am not sure what other sizes they have in similar configuration. The best bet would be for him to call Demon Carbs and confer with them.
I converted my Holley 850 from downleg to annular boosters. It really changed the carb characteristics. It is much more responsive at low- to mid-rpms. It seems to pull just as hard up top too. The downside is it seems to idle smoother. It took some lope outta my cam.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that BG will replace boosters in one of their carbs for ~$100...
