Default 406ci 575hp stroker re-start

hi, after 4 months of forced stop because of a crash i'll re-start my C3 stroker again and i wanted to change oil and filter even if only 500 miles on them, question: should i change oil and filter BEFORE i'll restart the engine OR it's better i'll start it, let it warm up and then have a better oil drain then change it? i'm worry the oil won't completely drain with the cold engine...thanks.

Better to warm it up & then change it for the reason you stated. The oil in it isn't old enough to cause any damage while you warm the motor up unless it's been contaminated.

If the current oil in the motor is the "initial start up after build" oil....change it now.

sorry, i do not understand what you mean.
The engine is abt 2.000 miles, i've changed the oil and filter 3 times already (for a better run in), then i had an accident and the car was forced for a 4 months stop, now everything is ready for a re-start, the oil into the engine is a bt 500/700 miles old...change before retart or warm the old oil first then change oil/filter?

Oil is cheap compared to the cost of a rebuild.

Change now, get 90% new stuff in there. Start engine and warm it up. Change it again.
