Default 78 - Heater valve vacuum ?

Putting the finishing touches on the motor this weekend. Have a vacuum question that the assembly manual doesn't make clear. On the passenger side of the firewall there is a grommet with 3 vacuum lines. Looking at this grommet from the front of the car there is a tan vacuum line on the left (10 o'clock), a black line in the center and a black line on the right (2 o'clock). I know the center goes to the passenger vent. The manual does not show a "tan line" on the left (they are all black)?? Does the left (tan) go to the heater control valve or does it go to the vacuum source?

There is a white (tan once it fades) plastic tube that goes down the passenger side to the water shut off valve.

That's what I thought..cause it had the right fitting on it to plug into the heater valve..BUT, the assembly manual shows ther other hose coming out of the grommet....leading to the valve.

Thanks, I'll use the tan line. I think the assembly manual must have been labeled backwards.

I only have one line coming from that area, and it's a yellow one going to the water valve. I don't even see the other nipples. Maybe that's why the heater/air only blows on the floor? I think I'm going to have all kinds of fun when I put in the new engine.

Should be two more. One for a "central" vacuum source and the other that goes to the actuator over and down in passenger side wiper tray area
