Anybody use these half shafts. They look like they can take some pretty serious horsepower.

Wonder how they compare to the Carbon Fiber?

They look very nice but if you go to the 3.5 you may have to do some fiberglass work to get them to fit.

check out dragvette as they have some good 3in half shafts at a decent price. As well as there safty loops to keep the half shafts from destroying stuff.

Those are some beefy shafts. I have no experience with them, however. That's a nice wheel stand.

I had mine made locally for less $$ and they have survived 100's of launches on slicks with a 540" motor and a 5 speed. I used Spicer flanges and 1480 series solid joints along with 3.5"x.134 wall tubing. I needed custom lengths, but they did a beautiful job at a local truck driveshaft shop in Houston.

You might take a stock shaft to a good local shop and have them replicate them with thicker tubing and Spicer flanges in whatever tubing size you decide. Use some solid Spicer joints and forget about them.
