Does anyone make one? I have the Energy Suspension universal poly GM trans mount right now, holding the back of my T56 up. I brought the engine up to about 4K and nailed it, I could hear my trans yoke hitting the tunnel.

can you modify it? i had to elongate the holes in the mounting pads for the 700r4 to get the tail shaft area more "centered" in the tunnel , i did this with a round file, and even then i just barely had enough room to get my fingers in there as a measurement of clearance....and you are sure your motor mounts have broken right? i recall some guys saying they had to cut out the fiberglass and remake a section to get the room they needed....
Not sure of the T56 mounting but the ES tranny mount called for Corvette doesn't fit correctly. I addressed this a couple of years ago with ES and they told me the listing for wrong. Corvette and I think soem camaro models were not listed,ALTHOUGH the all the catalogs did list it. Maybe this is the same in your case?
I found the ES mount to be higher than stock on my '76 w/ST10. Prothane mount is the correct, shorter, height.
Usefull information. I replaced the mount on my 81 auto with the ES one and it was too high. I'm changing trannys over the holidays and wanted to replace the mount as well. Where did you find the Prothane one?

Either Jegs or Summit, I don't recall.
One problem I had was the Prothane mount comes with studs to attach the mount to the crossmember. Given no torque specs, I tried to use the stock GM specs and I twisted the stud in half. Got the mount out, removed the twisted/broken studs, and went to grade 8 bolts. Mount holes are blind holes, not like the factory through holes. Ideal length for the bolts was some kind of weird length, so I had to cut down some available length bolts.
