Default Compression Gauge

I have an 81 with headers that I want to check my compression on, but my compression gauge will only fit straight in, and my headers (as well as the original manifolds) go over the spark plugs, so does anyone know where I can get some sort of 90 degree adaptor or a gauge that will work on my car?

Yeah I have the hose, but it won't flex enough for me to fit it on there. I have to use the short spark plugs in there because the headers are so close to the heads.

I bought my generic compression gauge from a non-supporting vendor (that starts with a big S.....) and the line is flexible enough to fit all plug holes even with headers. And the fitting is a combo size for 2 different plug holes that adds to its length. But just pop the fitting on top the plug hole and start threading by turning on the hose - then just finger tighten. Don't over tighten or u may tear the O-ring. But I am also running straight plugs without clearance problems.
I recall seeing the push in type with an angle nipple but have never used myself and don't now where to purchase. Heck try the local auto parts stores or even rental shop to borrow or rent 1.

Good luck. cardo0
