What is the difference between these two heads.
while looking aronud for heads I have found some heads with the last three casting numbers of 492 (I think). The only difference between the two sets are one has angle plugs and one has straight plugs. What is the performance difference between the angle plugs and straight plugs?

492 heads where used on the '69, '70, '71 LT1 engs and offered as replacement heads availible with straight or angle plugs. It was a performance version with design improvements.
But the newer Vortec style head is an improvement yet - and dirt cheap.
