Default New leaf spring

Hey guys, it's definitely time that I replace the rear leaf spring in my 72 L-48. Can you guys recommend something that would be a step above the stocker as far as handling goes? I've heard the fiberglass TRW ones from Mid America will over both a smoother ride and sharper handling...also, what lb/inch rating would you guys recommend? I don't mind sacrificing a little ride quality for the sake of performance but I don't want to rattle the car apart on a bumpy road either. Thanks guys

I would not recommend the TRW spring as many have had problems with them.
You should however contact VBP here on the forum or Van Steele and they can steer you in the right direction and have fantastic products.

Great, thanks a ton for the suggestion. After looking around on VBP's site, I'm probably gonna go with the 330# composite unit. Great price too.

Thanks again
