I just installed new front springs and find that my car is about 1" higher on the right front than the left. I swapped springs side to side and still the right is higher. Rears are adjusted even. Could my frame be sprung? Anything else to check that could be causing the problem? I don't notice it to look at it, but it bugs me knowing that it isn't level. Short of installing either the front leaf conversion, or the adjustable coil overs how can I get it level? By the way, I believe that I had the same problem with the old springs!
Are you sure that you don't have one spring installed upside down perhaps? The springs are marked on one end, and that end should go in the lower A-arm pocket. Just a thought.
hes talking about they're wound tighter on one end than the other , very noticable , I had a problem with my car also , I had to adjust the spring bolts in the back to help the problem in the front... in other words if you lower the drv side in the back it will raise the pass side in the front , and vice versa , I had to play with mine for about a half aday , still not perfect but much better.
Sounds like you did not index the springs. The springs should be about 3/8" from the top stop on the frame. I used blue painters tape on the top end of the spring so I could see it. I set my springs using the bottom of the control arm and the car sat 1 1/4 " higher on one side. Once I indexed the springs correctly, the right and left sides are within 1/4" of each other. Good luck. Jerry
C3 Corvettes have a pair of coil springs in front and a leaf spring in the rear. You do not mention whether your car is high in the front or high in the rear.
