uprate driveline
)...for the trans i'll stay with a t-10, getting a super case/etc, i dont like 5 or 6 speeds, for the shaft i was thinking abt an aluminium 3'', if needed, for the half shafts a 3'' HD alu or carbon, diff have no idea.
advices will be most welcome and i have 2 questions:
could i get a strong enough driveshaft of only 2.5'' (oem size) instead of 3''? i have seen that the shaft is not perfectly centered in the tunnel and maybe it could touch it if i fix a 3''.
could i keep the 3'' steel half shafts? they look pretty tough to my eyes
i've noticed, reading the threads in this forum, that people do not talk usually abt uprating the differential when talking abt the driveline, why? is it an uprate needed? who build a tough one which bolts streight into my application?
thanks a lot/Giu

The three inch rear half-shafts should do OK with your higher powered engine. The weakest link might be the U-joints...
