Mounting Bolts
HI
does anyone know how long the body mount bolts are supposed to be on mounts 2 & 3? its a '74 and when i put in the bolt it seems to hit the frame. or is there supposed to be a hole in the frame for the bolt to go through when tightened?

I replaced all 8 of my body mounts & bolts last year, all 8 bolts were the same length. Interestingly, however, the body mounts for the '74 (and I believe the very early '75s) are different sizes. The #2 and #3 mounts are about 1/8 inch more in height. The piece that fits over the other piece is the taller of the two. Original GM part# (yes, GM still stocks these):
#334755 cushion is for body mounts #1 and #4.
#334756 cushion is for body mounts #2 and #3.

Body Mount Bolts
I am in the process of replacing all of the body mounts on my '73. All of the bolts are 3 1/2 inches long. The body mount kit that I purchased is listed for '73 through '82 Corvettes, so it appears that the bolts are the same on a '74. My frame has holes below the mounts, so the bolts can't bottom out.
