Default Got a Dilemma...

So, my kid moves down to Jacksonville Florida. She's got it in her head to move in with her sailor boyfriend, buy some furniture, get domesticated, etc. Turns out the sailor is a real boogerhead. She now wants to come to Colorado Springs, but she's broke. We can get her here (airfare) but her car being shipped is another story. I shipped a mazda a couple of years ago from Texas to New Jersey, and it cost me about $450. Now I'm getting quotes of $1100+ (?!?) Does anyone know of a reputable, local shipping company in Jacksonville that will hold a car until she can afford to ship it (about amonth or so) and then ship it for less than $500? Thanks...

I replied to your other post about this subject and my recomendation was to start a thread asking if any of our forum members would be willing to let her park her car at their place. You never know someone may have extra room and be willing to help out.

how about flying one way to her and driving it and her things back
should take no more than a few days with you sharing the driving
and cost a whole lot less.
