Another Q.....

pertaining to aluminum heads. Was told, and am finding out, that bolts, intake and header, are always loosening, always having to stay on top of them, tightening them practically after every run. Was told that loctite didn't even work! Just seems to be something with steel bolts in alum. heads. Any tips? Thanks again,

p.s. I see Summit sells a locking set of header bolts by Breslin, anyone use these?

I use the locking header bolts and they hold fine. I haven't had any problems with the intake loosening up.

I use Stage 8 locking header bolts. No problems after 5 years. No problems with intake bolts. You are putting sealant on the intake bolts?

TF aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake.

maybe your bolts have threads that aren't up to snuff any more.....mabe its time for some new quality bolts from ARP
