Few questions...
First... Edelbrock vs Qjet?...I've seen people talking about how the edlebrock cabs only have them on cfm of 700 and greater... What is a qjet? I have an edlebrock carb 600cfm and was wondering if it were worth it in performance to swap to a larger carb...what is a qjet?
Also, "change ur module". I'm lost here. Same as changing Ignition System? Distributor? What module is being spoken about here.
I'm swapping out my stock intake to a Edelbrock Performer and eventually moving on to Vortech heads. I thought about changing to an MSG ignition system as well. Comments. Answers to my questions? Thanx for all.

There is also the square bore carb. generally thought of as the holley, but edelbrock also makes a square bore as welll ad a direct replacement spreadbore Qjet, this is where it gets confusing as the conversation usually involves the original spreadbore "Quadrajet" verses an aftermarket edelbrock square bore.. I have the Edelbrock "Q-jet" replacement carb (750 CFM) and i love it. Bye the way edelbrock makes carbs at 600, 700, 750 CFM depending ont eh application
There is also a great deal of discussion on just rebuilding the original which is very easy to do and though you have to be care of warped air horns, a common problem with these units.
hope this helps, PM me if you want more detailed info
