Here is a link to one of my postings.
I could also answer questions.

If you do a search in Corvette forum it doesn't go back very far.

I started out with a speedway 1 1/4 inch bar on the front with NO compromise in the bushings. I am running solid metal bushings. I find even running soft front springs the car was very level on the corners but I had alot of problems braking hard at high speed going into the corners. The rearend felt like it was coming around.
After reading a number of articles including Herb Chanders?? I decided to try a rear bar.
Since it is almost impossible to fit a rear bar with wide tires and deep offset rims I decided to try and tuck a bar right up next to the frame and inside the tires. A I believe 36 inch speedway bar would fit.
I installed another 1 1/4 inch but 3/16 wall bar and matching linkage but I run coilovers not the traverse spring.
The first impression the bar gave was an extremely harsh ride. Around town the ride was terrible but once up to speed, even as low at 50 mph the ride smoothed out.
Handling?? Every problem seems to have dissapeared. The car while not darty at all still had spots where it acted funny. These were totally gone, not once in the month I drove the car before putting it away did the steering ever feel darty.
I also found braking while turning was great, cornering seemed better then ever.
I love the bar, hate it at slow 30 mph speeds but everywhere else it was a great improvement.
The problem I am running into is the car needs to be driven at 100 mph plus to really apreciate everything. As the car improves so does the speed.

Thanks Norval. The sway bar is the only thing in the way of me putting 18x10.5s wheels with 295/35-18 tires on the rear. The trailing arm is'nt the problem.....yet.

I am also running 18 x 10 rims with 6 1/2 inches of backspacing. Everything is totally under the fender lip.

Norval,
The stock sway bar is 46" wide near the 90 degree bends, and 48" at the end links. Speedway bars aren't listed that wide.
http://www.1speedway.com/index.htm

Did you have them make you a custom bar. The distance from the bend to the end link is 9". I guess I can use one of their 15" end bars and just cut it to length. Prices aren't listed. How much will this cost me?

I used a stock production bar. It was not their longest one either. I wanted to keep the end links close to the frame to give me maximum clearance for the wide tires and rims. If you follow the other link it will show pictures. I think my links actually sit under the frame rails so the bar is not as wide as the frame.
Since you are making a non production bar use a piece of copper pipe or anything to get the shortest bar you can so it clears the tires and yet allows you to hook up a pair of links.
Remember the speedway bar links are very crude and need finishing by you. They are just long bars with a splined hole and pinch bolt and nothing else. It took work
