I hear people say that they are 64cc but I believe they are actualy around 62-63. They have the smaller 1.94 valves but I heard they flow better than the old camel humps with the 202's. Im not sure about the casting numbers, I know there is a 906 and something like an 096? Im not sure of the difference....can anyone help out?

Don't rule out rebuilt heads from a local machine shop. I installed vortec heads about 5 yrs ago. I purchased them rebuilt from a machine shop for $400.00. They included upgraded z-28 springs, used self aligning rocker arms that were in very good shape and lightly used center bolt valve covers.
