Default AC "bug-a-boo"

I finally , after a year, got my 81(black, doeskin/4-speed)on the road. It got a complete interior makeover. The corvette gods mercifully guided me as I put my dash back together. Everthing worked fine...even the AC. Now when I turn the AC on no air comes out the vents! There is nothing wrong with the unit as I can feel cold air trying to escape from somewhere under the dash! The fan even cycles the air. I had to of reassembled it correctly because it worked fine for a while. What the #&@$ did I do wrong?

I think Rhys is on the right track. The blend doors are vaccuum controlled - if you've got a vaccuum line cracked or missing, the doors might be shut.
