There are two screws hidden under the lower part of the cluster near the A/C panel controls. You need to remove the shifter console side covers to get to them. Also the large wiring harness connector behind the center console cluster dosent have much slack and needs to be unplugged.

Yep thats it, two screws on the bottom for the cluster. PITA to get out, console side covers, maybe even the seat bottoms to get at the rear screws. I dont understand why chevy didnt put those screws facing outwards towards the doors instead of facing towards the gauge cluster. WOuld have been ten minutes work instead of 30.
Mike as an aside, I finally landed a job, will get the offer next week then its time to start burnin vacation time and terminal leave. Time to leave mommas womb and get out into the real world. 20 yrs was enough. I'd rather be in Florida but that will have to wait. Vette weather all year round sounds great,
