Although I'm a bit under the weather (an employee at work wouldn't go home with a fever) I managed to get the steering column installed today and several odds and ends done. Tomorrow, I will finish with the small stuff, install enough exhaust to crank it and lower it to the ground. I hope we have good weather tomorrow; today was gloomy and rainy all day. With any luck, I will be able to drive it and report the results of my transmission swap!

I have been reading your posts and started a t5 swap in my car. Will you please tell me if the colmen Ford to Chevy pilot bearing worked, or did you have to use somthing else.

sounds good.....the first drive will be sweet!!!!
when we put all my stuff in i actually planned out the last three days work so that we didn't start and drive the car until the day after the install....so we could be fresh and go over everything one more time.....the excitement level is pretty high even for grown men! good luck keep us posted
Liquidr6,
I didn't know about the coleman bushing when I installed the pilot bushing. I used a regular chevy bushing and had the inside diameter milled to the diameter of the ford input shaft.
Bob,
I'm pretty excited right now!
