'79 A/C Compressor Question...
My A/C in my '79 L48 blows ice cold, however, I notice when the A/C is running that it seems to periodically "cycle". With the hood open and A/C on I hear like a click at the compressor, and then shortly after another click. Like it is turning on and off automatically? The engine idle also changes when this happens. It does it every few minutes it seems although I never really "timed" it.
The question is, is this behavior normal that the A/C cycle like this or do I have a problem here? The compressor, hoses, etc. are all new in the last 5 years or so and as I said the A/C blows ice cold. Thanks!
