hey guys....i would like 2 know the diff. between hooker n heddman headers....i have a set of hooker super comp's that i want 2 replace due to age n in my search i see that the hookers go 4 5 n change n the heddman set goes 4 under 2....y the big difference....thanx Jerrylee///
I would expect that it has a lot to do with the engineering and a lot of the specs of the headers. Depending on your setup it may not be worth it to have the higher priced hooker super comp headers, as the standard competition headers may work just fine. What are you running for an engine (heads, cam, intake specs and CR and projected hp) and what do you plan on doing with the car? Is it a cruiser, racer, dragger or a little bit of everything?

I agree. I bought Hed. because of the price, but I think Hooker makes a better product. But again, for what I use it for, I might not need to spent the extra $ on Hookers. Larry

I bought the Heddmen from JET-HOT. Work fine, and the finish is great. Looks the same as the day installed. They offer a discount to forum members I believe. Good guys to work with.
have them Jet-Hot coated. Saves you from having to ding-up the coating. Costs a little more but I think it's worth it.
take the hookers off and get them jet-hot coated for $200. I don't see the benefit in putting a cheaper header on your car. I know alot of guys who know more about motors then me that use hooker.
