Default Headers/sidepipes

Who makes the best headers/sidepipe kit, year specific, prefer a bolt-up at the header, with the least amount of hassle? Asking a lot ain't I?

I put on the Hooker headers and side pipes. The actual installation was very easy and fast. Removing all the old pipes and exhaust manifolds was a bear--steering box needed to be dropped to remove the drivers exhaust manifold (69BB). I saved all the pipes as they were only about 1 yr old. The actual installation took about 1 day, and half of that was trimming the rocker panels.

I've had Hooker Side Pipes since 1977, never looked back, can't beat them.

Am I right in thinking all hookers require shaving down the bodywork?

Not ALWAYS.....but yes...most of the time. When I installed my Hookers on my 78 the driver side was ok clearance wise, but the passenger side hade to be trimmed (notched) about a half inch to clear one of the primary tubes....but as glenkov48 said, it was an easy job overall. And Hooker pipes look and sound BADA$$!!
