Bad Head Gasket ??
I think I need a head gasket.
While changing my valve cover gaskets on my 350,I noticed some anti-freeze on my block at the casting number, (drivers side at back of head ).Its a 1978 block with Edlebrock RPM heads and intake with about 6yrs use ,I dont know the miles. I bought car a("70" coupe) in Dec.I drove it about 70 miles home ,so it runs but not great .It doesnt appear to have any anti-freeze in the oil.I had wiped it off but it reapeared ,Looking with a mirror it looks like it could be comming from under the end of the head. I don't know where else it could come from.I don't drive car as I have a list of other things to do before I register it in the spring.
Before I pull the heads I figured I'd get a second opinion from the forum which I trust more than myself.
