anyone ever swapped out the factory master cylinder for one of the wilwood ones?
I have Corvette Engineerings wilwood brake kit, meyer coil over conversion in front, so I think the wilwood master cyclinder will fit on with the "modernization" theme.
I was looking at the 260-85 series...1" or 1.12" bore versions.
Any ideas, opinions???

From: I tend to be leery of any guy who doesn't own a chainsaw or a handgun.
I'm in the middle of updating the brake system on my '69. I have no performance complaints about the present master cylinder, but everytime I look at that heavy chunk of iron I get motivated to find an aluminum substitute. I'm interested in hearing what master cylinder substitutes the collective can offer or suggest.
a c4 or c5 one can be made to fit also. I haven't checked out the wilwood ons yet but do they have one w/ the proper snout? The ones you commonly see from wilwood ap or whatever all have a rod at the end making them unsuitable for an assisted setup.
