I have been thinking about attending the Route 66 Corvette Show in Chandler AZ this October. Anyone know anything about it? Is it worth attending?

I was unable to go to Bloomington this year and Carlisle is just too far. I can pack Chandler into a vacation to Vegas, so.....

And, yes I know, Chandler is no where near the old Route 66, but that is the name.

I went last year. It was the first year for the show to be in Phoenix (Chandler). The weather was rainy/windy/crappy right up to the start of the event. How much it affected attendance, I don't know, but the turnout was pretty slim. I'll be going again this year, but I'm already here in Phoenix. Hopefully the weather will be better and more people and cars will show up.

Tom .... I'll be going to it. I did the Arizona cruise in June and met a lot of the Phoenix people. Really great people... even those C4 & C5 guys :cheers:

What route will you travel? I 40 or I 10? I'm hoping to be able to hook up with others to do the cruise to Phoenix.

I'm also going to attend the cancer run in November.
