Default What else to watch for?

So I have a stock 79'C3.The car is so stock in fact that the original heat riser is still on the manifold and it still works.I plan on using the car as my daily driver this spring but I have to go through it first.I have to change the intake and valve cover gaskets, and a few vacuum lines but everything else seems to be in good shape. The brakes have been done as have the u-joints in the half shafts and drive shaft. The clutch is good, the radiator is too.Can anyone think of anything else that may be a problem on a 79'Vette?

Getting use to a whole lot of from complete strangers. Just enjoy your summer cruising, and fix what breaks.

My 78 is pretty much the same as yours except I did have to have the radiator re-cored this past summer. Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it

I have a 79 too, but I have been replacing almost everything from front to rear. It has been an expensive but enjoyable project. Enjoy your new baby, fix what breaks as you go along. The only things I would do is put new hoses and belts on it, change the fluids and drive it! Like the man said - If it ain't broke, don't fix it! And don't forget the "wave" when you meet another Corvette on the road!
