Default 2003 limited edition vette pictures

Saw this "GM concept car" - my words not theirs - they seem to be alluding that its about to be approved at GM at Meadowbrook Concours over the weekend. Seems that GM is evaluating this design as the 2003 limited aniversary edition - the guys who had it there were GM insiders and had this devilish attitude to steal the thunder from the FORD Thunderbird.
- It will be at Carlisle

My comment: Great but how are they going to pass the 5MPH bumber restriction with those chrome bumperettes.

Is it me or does that thing look hastily put together...something seems just not right about the way it looks. Interesting tho.

It was here in Albuquerque for the Rt. 66 celebration. Here is what the local paper said.

SWEET!! I want one. I never really cared for that body style. I always thought they were a little too bubbly. But now with the swept back look, I love it.

Looks good, but I don´t like the rims....
Front and rear look really retro, side doesn´t
If they redesign the sidepanels I´d buy one if I had the money..

Oh boy...I'll probably get :mad for this one, but I think they should put a C5 backend on it with a little C3 type interior. I don't like the backend of it. They need a little of all the vettes on it. ;) :D

I dont like it... looks like a modified kit car 53. I think Ford did a better job updating the 53 corvette with their new t-bird. Not that I would buy one, but to me the bird looks a lot like a 53 vette. MJ

Great Idea, but it looks like they rushed it and made it look cheesy. Now if only they would make the new vettes look a little more like the c3's

That's kinda funny looking. I would like to see it in person before I make a final judgement. I'll give them lots of credit for creativity. If they keep that up, some really cool things should happen.

Maybe it's just me, but there are certain styling cues that have evolved over the years that make a Corvette a Corvette. Things like the 4 tail lights and the pop up headlights that just have to stay. I'm all for retro styling, but I have to say I don't like it. It just looks like a '53 front and tail hacked onto a C5. Maybe modernize the ends a little bit....

Just my 2¢.

Sorry guys, I think it looks like Bubba put it together in his garage. Don't know if it's an April Fool's joke or not, but Ford's new T Bird has it beat hands down.

Doesn't do much for me. The look of the front and rear bumpers doesn't really flow with the rest of the car.

:U I don't like it. It looks like a C5 with a 53 front end. They should keep the flip up head lights. :boxing . I don't think I'll get one if they keep it looking like that
