Have a 73 vet with a 350 (L-82). I installed a Crane copy of the factory 70 LT1 #3972182 cam. Also installed Isky lifters, Comp Cams Magnum roller rockers, and Competition Cams Hi-Tech pushrods. I am getting ready to assemble it, and plan on adjusting the valves cold to the specs at least for the 100 mile break-in period.
Is there a big difference between setting the valves for this setup cold versus hot after the break-in? I would rather not have to get the engine hot to adjust the valves, if the performance is the same.

I would adjust the valves as soon as your initial break in for the cam and rings are done. The motor will be at operating temp for a lot longer period when running then when cold at start up, houstonvett
