Looking for advice on new calipers
Can anyone help me with recommendations for new calipers. I have an 82 that was in storage for 8 years. The MC cover was rusted so I changed it and the gasket drained, refilled, and bled the system. Every week I had to refill the MC and have noticed that the right side calipers are wet with some brake fluid on the ground when the vehicle sits for more than two days. I've checked out various websites from ads in Vette magazine and the prices have such a tremendous range I am unsure which ones to purchase.

SS sleaved calipers have been around for a long time, most likely any reman caliper are already sleaved....I would take my existing calipers and rebuild either with a standard lip seal kit (from any auto supply) or do what I am going to do and go with new technology "O" rings with new "O" ring pistons (from most Vette parts catalogs) The "O" rings eliminate leaking and air pumping from warped rotors.....cost about $130 for 4 verses $300 for reman lip seal calipers form the autp supply houses
