OK the best I can tell I am going to need
Champion c61cx
NGK 4554
autolite AR3934 or 3923
they are written in the FAQ thread of another forum as "1 heat range cooler"
what does all this mean? I need a good plug for my boosted motor. I figure if I am gonna **** away good money to have plugs delivered to me I might as well get good ones.
I put the shorty accels in to break in the motor and do the tuning with, figured they would be a little easier to get in and out doing plug checks. After I ran them a while they seem to work well and my plug wires have a little extra clearance from the headers so I'll keep them til they let me down.

well I am picking up a set of 10 Autolite AR3934 racing plugs from the autoparts store tommorow. Sure beats the hell out of paying 10 dollars for shipping on plugs from summit
R45XLS or R44XLS in the AC brand.. 43`s are a little too cold for the street.
AS I recall, those are the numbers in AC D that are in fact maybe only 1/16 inch or so longer than then Accell shorties....so I went with them...
not worth the stupid price differance, I hose clamped a small piece of galvanized metal bent to header in position as a heat shield for the plugs cyl 5&6 only....

I was running these but decided to try the Champion 405's instead. I don't have an opinion about the car running better/worse...no noticeable change. BUT, the Champions came with rings installed and the gaps were all very consistent. The A/C's rings were off and the gaps from the factory were all over the place...
My favorites have been the Champion Gold Plus plugs. They have a fine wire electrode and a gold-palladium tip. But, sadly you can't hardly find them anywhere anymore...
