Replacement front coils
I have decided to go with the Herb Adams school of suspensions - soft springs, big bars. Herb recommends base front coils cut 1/2 a coil to increase stiffness slightly and drop the front.
Been looking for a set of stock variable rate front coils. Anybody have a clue on where to get them. Most listings on line are for the 460 or 550 coils. Autozone style replacements are all constant rate coils.
I already have a source for the rear spring in a 260# steel.
My current plan is new shocks and bigger bars. I'll hold the new springs in reserve.
