There is an alternative to ordering paint if you need it quick.
The stuff I got from Ecklers was marked "GM Restoration Part" so I assume it is the correct silver (looks good). I didn't have enough of it and my tires are sitting in the store ready to go on. So, in desparation, I went to Autozone and bought some Dupli-Color Wheel Paint - they call the color "Steel". It is the EXACT same color - goes on nicely - says it's a durable polyurethane - and costs only $3.95.

Re: More on Rally Wheel paint (Tex71BB)
I have found that Castle "Dull aluminum" followed by a coat of clear looks VERY GOOD and a very close match to original color. about $3.00 a can
Actually, there are two colors of Rallye Wheel paint. One of them has a greenish tint to it and was used in 68 & 9 (maybe other years too, don't know about mid-years). Paragon lists both in their catalog. The more silver one, generally regarded as '70 & up is also supposedly the correct paint for 68-9 side louver trim. I think the one that most places sell (that only list one) is the more silvery one and probably the one Dupli-color matches.
