Default Should I use a Lightweight Flywheel???

Hoping someone can give me some good advice that isn't trying to sell me something. I'm putting a +/- 420 hp 350 in my '68 4-speed. I've got a brand new SFI steel flywheel that only weighs 16 lbs, and a new Ram 10.5" clutch. I've been told that the lightweight flywheel will help the car "feel" like it has more hp since it will rev faster. But I've had others tell me that the flywheel is too light and that I'll have to rev high from a start, particularly in reverse. They say I should stick with the stock 33 lb. flywheel. Any thoughts or recommendations on what will work best before I put the engine back in the car? Thanks in advance - great place for info.

Default I went thru this same scenario,

when I was building my 383 stroker, and decided to go with the OEM which in my case was a nodular iron wheel out of my 71 LT1-350I had blanchard ground. More people recommended the heavier wheel for street use because of the increased intertia. If you were racing I'd say go with lighter one. If you decide to go back to stock do not get a cast flywheel as there is some potential for them to shatter.

Good Luck
