Tom - Stamped rockers do not survive on larger solid cams. When you run lash and higher spring pressure.

It wan't until the advent of the long slot aftermarket stamped that they could run higher lift solid cams and expect the valve train to last.

No links... I can email the .AVI files.

Each one is about a minute & 1/2.

You need to be able to view frame by frame though... otherwise you can't see anything.

If you're interested, pm me your preferred addy for rocker arm video's.

That wasn't my point.... and I missed your point as well.
We just aren't communicating well with these keyboards.

To really see what was going on you would need about 1000
frames per second. Gear like that would run around $10k and up. Sombody must have done valve train studies and its being kept as propriatary information.

I found this interesting

I could only test at idle... that was one of the "holes" in the test.

I work in a hi-tech lab where we have a lot of cool equipment, but I don't want to press my luck with borrowing it.

A good test would have to cover higher rpm than just idle.

But.... I learned what I needed to know... the things -apparently- don't do what I hoped on a grocery getter to prolong valve & valve guide life.

These aren't the top of the line roller tips either.... so we have to keep that in mind.
