Learned a valuable lesson
Anyway I had an unfortunate problem with one of my -6 hose ends going from the pump to carb. Had to temp replace the line with regular rubber fuel line until I can get another hose end. So I did this With out using the "adell " clamps that I had my braided line routed through. Started the engine & noticed right off something was diffrent. Idle was considerbly smoother & cleaner sounding. Took it for a spin & feels like it gained 30hp. Best that I can figure the clamps were way too tight & squeezing the inner dia. if the line. The carb was'nt gettting enough fuel causing a low float level. Guess it was a blessing in disguise that I striped an AN fitting, I guess things always work out one way or another.
