The doorlocks are held in place by a c-clip. The c-clip holding the drivers side lock has a connector belonging to the alarm attached.
My c-clip is all worn out and keeps falling off every five or so trips. The only new c-clips I can find don't have this connector attached: does anyone know if it's neccessary for this connector to be attached to the doorlock (through the c-clip) or can I just leave it hanging there?

I'll try and make some pictures soon, if needed.

you should be able to let it hang as long as it does not interfere with the window works. use a bit of duct tape and tape the wires to the inside of the door skin if you can't find the correct clip
