Default Hydroboost ? for Norval

By the pictures the HB seems to be a 4 bolt mount. I'm looking at one that is a 2 bolt mount. What is the difference? I assume the 4 bolt units bolt to our current firewall holes, or is this a special plate that has been added?

hehe, just fought this exact item Tues AM...and found out we need drill the mounting plate and then cut off some flange on the ~5" long bend as it interfeers with other firewall mountings..

so the unit is then 'upside' down in it's mounting...works fine...

GREAT ADDITION to the car....for ONCE in ten years my car has what I say really POSITIVE stopping power....the differance is astouding...

I redrilled a 2 bolt one also and cut off a large section..however if someone can get their hands on some of those 4 bolt mounting plates I'd like to have dibs on one

All I've ever found is the 4 bolt units and they do not need any cutting. They fit our existing firewalls without any modifications.

I freind of mine had one still mounted on an old pickup (around a 88) in his back yard, he was trying to get rid of it a while back. I didn't get it cause the fittings had been cut off and the HB had been left open. It didn't look to bad but he had another truck that was still all closed up so I took the HB off that one. I will check if he still has it and see if it is a 4-bolt mounting plate.
