Default I NEED Electrically conductive thread sealer

Is there such an animal? I have ordered the Nordskog specific temperature sending units to try and correct the erratic oil and coolant temp readings I am getting with my Nordskog digital gauges. Nordskog specifically says DO NOT USE TEFLON TAPE or other thread sealing compounds because the sending units need to be grounded. So-ooo, is there an electrically conductive thread sealing compound out there? I don't think that Permatex copper qualifies because it is silicone based.

You could use Loctite's green thread locker. It's very thin and designed to penetrate the voids of threads after they have been tightened.

It doesn't make sense why thread sealer can't be used with this brand of gauges; it doesn't affect other gauges. An electrical connection is an electrical connection, regardless of the brand.

I've used russell thread sealant with success. Not with Nordskog stuff but with autometer and EFI sensors that require grounding to the block.

Copper coat is a conductive pipe thread sealant/anti sieze used in the electrical construction industry--sold at electrical supply houses and building supply stores (Home Depot, Lowe's)

There is an electrically conductive sealant used in the aerospace industry, but when cured, it is basically porous and not a good sealer.

It should be called electrically conductive & porous adhesive...

If you need a good electrical connection, don't use sealant. Make sure the threads are good and make it real tight.
