Default Tach Zero
My tach does not zero. Is it a simple matter of pulling the needle and setting a zero? What is the simpliest way ofgetting the tach out to do this.

When does it not go to zero? Does it zero when you have the key in the on position, but the engine off? I think most (electrical ones that is) stick at idle speed unless you click it back on for a second after shutting it off.

When the key is on the need rests at 300 rpm...

I imagine all tach readings are 300 rpm higher then they should be.
