How, and where did you determine that you have no spark? Did you pull a plug and check, did you check current with a timing light, what? If you only checked in one spot, it could be wire or plug. If no wires are getting spark, make sure you have all of the wires plugged into the HEI. If the "hot" wire is not making contact, you won't get power to energize the coil. If you are getting power to the coil, it can be a bad coil or a bad ignition module. Some auto parts stores have the equipment to test the ignition module.
